Funeral services were this morning for Watson resident Clyde Wayne Watson, 62. He died Monday at his home.

Watson was born Feb. 23, 1937, to the late Raymond and Mae Carterby Watson. He was married to Julia Lewis and worked in Hatfield, Ark. He was a member of Buffalo Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Julia Watson of Watson; four sons, Julian Watson and Brian Watson, both of Watson, Michael Watson of McCrory, Ark., and Johnny Watson of Kansas City, Kan.; two daughters, Regina Hill of Durant and Teresa Watson of Watson; one sister, Martha Clark of Lawrence, Kan.; two half-brothers, George Watson of Watson and Aaron Watson of Grannis, Ark.; five half-sisters, Shirley Rosas of Batesville, Ark., Mary Hurlocken, Virginia Hernandez and Doris Gonzalez, all of DeQueen, Ark., and Arabella Sanchez of Grannis, Ark.; and 14 grandchildren.

Funeral services were at Buffalo Presbyterian Church at Watson with Cecil Jefferson and Leon Bohanon officiating. Burial followed in Buffalo Cemetery in Watson, under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home, Mena, Ark.
