BUVENS, MRS MARIE B.
Died at her residence, 358 Westmoreland Dr., at 12:20 p.m., Wednesday. Born Nov. 21, 1872, she was 82. A native of Bellevieu [Bellevue] in Bossier Parish. Daughter of the late Adj. Gen. William Giroud Burt and the late Mary Frances Belcher. Body at Rabenhorst Funeral Home until 7:45 a.m. Thursday. Religious services at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Thursday at 8 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Msgr. Paul Gauci. Burial in St. John's Cemetery in Many. She is survived by three sons, William Giroud Buvens and J. Gilbert Buvens, both of Baton Rouge, and John H. Buvens of Tampa, Fla.; a daughter, Miss M. Ethel Buvens, Baton Rouge; two sisters, Mrs. J. Newt Ogden and Mrs. E. B. Cannon, both of Baton Rouge; three grand children, and several nieces and nephews.
