No tombstone not sure if he is even buried here in Egypt Cemetery. Need to check to see when cemetery was established. Some believe that he was buried on his land in Van Buren County, Iowa. Some people could not read or write so there is a conflict on spellings of last name.-----Cassaday-Casaday-Cassidy-Casidy-Cassady-Casady. One of his sons Allen Daniel Cassady/Casady changed his name to Casady in the late 1870's or early 1800's. My side of family changed name to Casady. Most of his brothers and their families in Van Buren County, Iowa changed name to Casady but census takers did not know how to spell their name correctly., therfore we have a conflict now!
