L. J. Shackelford
ALGER, March 31 - Funeral of L. J. Shackelford, 64, farmer, who died at 4 p.m. Monday at his home here, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Methodist Protestant church of which he was a member. Burial will be in an Alger cemetery. Shackelford died after an illness of one year.
He was born in Greenville, O., but had lived in Alger for the past 41 years.
Besides his widow, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Rachel Patterson, of McGuffey; two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Rolston and Mrs. Gladys Blair; two sons, Waldron Shackelford, of Spencerville; Doan Shackelford, of Alger; four brothers and a sister.
