Mrs. Brazelton was born October 2, 1893 in Hood County. She moved to Jean from Johnson County at the age of 17 years. She had lived in Olney for 50 years and was a member of the Church of Christ. The couple moved to their home in Olney in 1935.
Mr. and Mrs. Brazelton were married 23 January 1915 in Graham, Texas. A friend, Jim Davis, carried the wedding party from Farmer to Graham in his car - a 1914 Model T. It was Mrs. Brazelton's first auto trip.
The couple lived in Young County most of their lives.
They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house at their home in Olney.
Survivors include her husband; a son, W.F. Brazelton, Jr., of Denver, Colo.; four daughters, Lillian Partain of Farmington, N.M., Mary Goodwin of Post, Maxine Smith of Fort Worth and Billie Jean Crosthwait of Olney; 12 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and 'four great great grandchildren.
