Glen Byron Marolf, 94, Lincoln, formerly Greenwood, died Tuesday (9/28/04). Born, Cheyenne Wells, Colo. (4/8/10). Retired farmer. Member, Greenwood United Methodist Church. Taught Sunday school and Methodist Youth Fellowship for more than 20 years. Lincoln resident since 1986. Volunteered for the Red Cross for more than 40 years. Past president, Lancaster County Farm Bureau and Election Board. Graduate, Waverly High School, 1928. Attended the University of Nebraska for two years. Married Irene Walradt in February 1936. Glen painted signs for everyone in the area, but farming was his love.

Survivors: wife, Irene; nieces; nephews. Preceded in death by: parents; brothers, Wayne, Walter.

Memorial service: 11 a.m. Friday, Roper & Sons Chapel, 4300 O St. Body has been donated to the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, for research. Memorials to Cedar's Youth Services, 620 N. 48th St., Lincoln 68504. Condolences or personal reflections may be left at www.roperandsons.com.
