Mrs. Vianna Marlene Cole, 34, wife of Oxnard attorney Carl K. Cole Jr., died Monday afternoon following an operation at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Mrs. Cole was a daughter of the late Clarence E. Pecht, a former Oxnard municipal judge.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Lisa Ann and Kimberly, living at the family home at 731 Devonshire Dr, and her mother, Mrs. Alta L. Pecht, and a brother, Paul E. Pecht, both of Oxnard.

Mrs. Cole was born in Mullen, Neb., on Feb 27, 1932 and came to Oxnard with her parents at the age of four. She was a graduate of Oxnard High School and the University of California at Berkeley with an M.A. degree. She was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority.
