Alfred J. Aube, 79,of 282 ChestnutSt., died yesterday at Central Maine Medical Center following a long illness.
Born in Ste.Cecile,Quebec,April24,1909,son of Joseph and Lucy Lapointe Aube.He had been a resident of this community since 1931. He served in the U.S.Army during WWII.
He was employed in the textile industry before his retirement.
Married to the former Marie Lessard, 17 May 1957,Lewiston,Maine.She died on 2th Dec,1986
Survivors include three step-daughters,Mrs.Frank (Lucille)McEachern and Mrs Richard (Lorraine) Smith, both of Lewiston,and Mrs Reginald (Murielle) Bouchard of Lisbon.A stepson Normand Albert Bergeron of Winthrop.
Four sisters Irene Picard,Laurette Aube,and Dolores Aube,all of Lewiston,and Mrs Daniel (Theresa)Myrand of Sabattus. Two brothers Robert of Auburn,and Eugene Aubey of Crestveiw,Florida,11 stepgrandchildren,and seven stepgreat-grantchildren.
