George Adam was born in 1752 or early 1753 in Northampton Co (then Bucks Co), Pa (based on his age 73 when he died in November 1825). It is assumed they were married in 1772 (there's no record available; however, when their son Nicolas died in September 1854 in Ottawa County, Ohio, he was 81 making his birth year 1772 or 1773).
There was some confusion about George Adam and Elizabeth's children. Three different names are noted: Nicolas - mentioned in Conrad Zellner's will as Elizabeth's surviving son: Marie Catherine born month(?) 20, 1775 from the research of Veda Jones: and finally George Christian born October 2, 1776 from the Rev. William A. Yeisley's research. When Conrad Zellner's will was found solving the mystery of George Adam's wives, it was assumed that Nicolas and George Christian were the same person. However, Nicolas' age at his death tends to indicate that there were three children. Since there was no mention of either George Christian or Marie Catherine in Conrad Zellner's will, or in George Adam's will, or in any other record found to date, it is assumed they died young.
There is no record of Nicolas' birth or baptism found to date - his birth in 1772 or early 1773 is assumed from his death record in Ohio.
Veda Jones' research discovered Marie Catherine born 1775 and baptised in the Zion Lutheran Church in what is now Lehigh County, Pa. The baptism record named the parents, Georg Adam and Lisabeth Jensz and the sponsors Konrath Zollner and wife Margaretha (Elizabeth's parents).
The baptism record for Georg Christian born October 2, 1776 listed the parents Georg Adam Jiesely and wife Elisabetha and sponsors Christian Zoeller and Susanna Federman. This baptism was performed in the Reformed Church in Zionsville, Upper Milford Township, Northampton (now Lehigh) County, Pa. Christian was Elizabeth's brother.
There is no record of Elizabeth's death, but it is assumed she died shortly after George Christian's birth.
