MRS. NANCY ANNE TANNER EDMAN, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend died Friday, January 28, 2005 at the age of 73. She resided in Memphis for over 40 years before moving to Munford. She was born to Ashley N. Tanner, Sr. and Lois M. Johnston in 1931 and was a member of the Brighton Baptist Church. She worked at MLG&W and later retired after 18 years in personnel from St. Joseph Hospital. She always had a wonderful, generous spirit and a great sense of humor. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joys, being so proud of her grandsons, Dave Dickerson of Cookeville, Tn and Jonathan Dickerson of Goodlettsville, Tn. Her newest joy was her granddaughter, Marina Angela of Sarasota, Florida. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Charles F. Edman, Sr., her children, Sandra Edman Wilson of Goodlettsville, TN and Charles F. "Chuck" Edman, Jr. of Sarasota, Florida, her siblings, Elizabeth Simonton, Margaret Ingram, Ashley N. Tanner, Jr. and Wayne Tanner, her grandchildren, David Dickerson, Jonathan Dickerson and Marina Angela, and her many nieces and nephews. Funeral and burial services will be held on Sunday, January 30, at 2:30 at the Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home & Cemetery in Millington, Tennessee.
