Walters (Staff) - Funeral for Eva Oberly, 59, Walters, who died Monday in a Lawton hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Wyatt Funeral home chapel with Rev. James Denny and Rev. Bertha Loti, both of Anadarko, officiating. Burial will be in Deyo Cemetery, west of Lawton.
Mrs. Oberly was born Nov. 22, 1913 in Comanche County. She came with her parents to Walters in her childhood. She was married to Acey Oberly in 1934 in Hominy. He died Nov. 13, 1969. She was a member of Brown Church, south of Walters.
Survivors include five sons: Acey Jr., Wapato, Wash.; Frank, Spencer; John, Fort Washakie, Wyo.; Marty, Norman, and Gary, Walters; four daughters: Yvonne Wahahroskah, and Margrett Keith, both of Lawton, and Jacqueline Seymour and Sara Oberly, both of Walters; a brother, Louis Tippeconnic, Lawton; 15 great-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
