Douglas C. Duncan, 86, died Friday, May 15, 2009 at Kalispell of emphysema.
At his request, no services are planned. Cremation has taken place.
Douglas was born to Daniel and Genevieve (Billedeau) Duncan on Aug. 24, 1922 at Benton. He was a veteran of World War II and worked at Plum Creek Lumber Company in Columbia Falls for 38 years. He married Grace K. Riefstahl on Aug. 26, 1950. She passed away on May 9, 2008.
His family was his greatest love. He also loved bowling and bowled two and three times a week. He loved camping, fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his children Ginger Sieler (Mic) of Libby, Barb Barnard of Great Falls, Penny (Larry) Curtiss of Cut Bank and Lori Sieler (Phil) of Kalispell; and a sister, June (Larry) Cummings of Hamilton.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace; a son, Douglas, Jr.; and sisters Dorothy, Bonnie, Marie and Marge.
