According to "The Lives and Letters of the Combs Family" published by Ann Combs Krahn (1985) pp.4-6, Thomas Hicks Combs "was married to Kizziah Hayes, daughter of Henry and Keziah Hayes 3 February 1801 in Wilkes County, North Carolina. Kizziah was born about 1782, according to census records." So that would be her date of birth - 1782.
On page 6 it states:
"Kizziah remained in Monroe County, Iowa until her death in 1866, living with her son Elias. She is buried at the Hayes/Section Cemetery in Monroe County, Iowa." So her date of death would be 1866.
