Henry Horne, Jr., was the son of Henry Horne, Sr., and Keziah Campbell Hayes.

His first marriage was to Francis "Franky" Johnson on Dec. 29, 1818 in Wilkes County, North Carolina. Their marriage produced thirteen children

After Franky's death, he married Elizabeth "Betsy" Holland, prior to 1860 Federal Census. This marriage produced no children.
