Mrs. Margaret Eva Lane, 69, of Garnett died Saturday, October 3, 1987, at the Golden Heights Living Center.
She was born September28, 1918, in Anderson County, the daughter of Jacob and Olive Eva (Schowalter) Ashburn, and spent most of her life in Anderson County.
She was married to Loyd Lane, June 6, 1963, at Erie. He died in 1975.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Dozier in Missouri; a son, Berl Leslie Martin, Knoxville, Tenn.; three sisters, Mrs. Beverly Potter, Garnett, Mrs. Esther Willey, Lane, and Mrs. Opal Mahon, Eudora; Three brothers, Cecil Ashburn, Garnett; Delbert Ashburn, Burlington, and Arthur Ashburn, Lawrence; and seven grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, October 7, 1987, at Bell Cemetery in Watts, Okla.
