Mrs. Reuben J. Snow
Mrs. Ethel M. Snow, 70, wife of Reuben J. Snow, 1027 Manor Rd., died Sunday morning at Coatesville Hospital, followed a lengthy illness. She had been a patient at the hospital for 11 days.
Born at Laurel, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Luceta Ford. She had resided in this area since 1905. The couple had celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in March 1959.
She was a member of the Coatesville Presbyterian Church, ad Circle No. 11 of the Coatesville Presbyterian Women's Association.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four daughters and two sons including Hazel, wife of John Handiboe, Coatesville; Ethel, wife of Haines Trego, of West Cheste; Charles F. Snow, Wilmington, Del.; Alice M., wife of Albert Stern, New Holland; Edward L. Snow, Coatesville; Blanche E., wife of Jospeh Zaplitney, Coatesville; 20 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Also five sisters including Mrs. Helen Regener, Mrs. Edna Regener, and Mrs. Isabel Troupe, all of Coatesville; Mrs. Anna Root, of Westwood; and Miss Virginia Ford, Philadelphia; two brothers, Oliver and Harry Ford, of Coatesville.
Funeral services will be held from the S. Paul Roberts Funeral Home, 1030 E. Lincoln Hwy., Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home this evening after 7 o'clock.
*Note: There is a son, Edward L. Snow, who married Elizabeth Pyle Bracken in June 1946.
