March 19, 1908 - "Samuel C. Wilson, aged 84, a well-known resident of Rimersburg, Pa., died Friday morning, March 13, 1908. He had engaged in the farming business for many years and had been a resident of Rimersburg for the past eight years. He had been a member of the Methodist Episcopal church for more than 60 years and leaves his widow and the following children: Alden, Robert 0. and Roland Wilson, Eureka, Cal.; Mrs. J.F. Gardner of Rimersburg; Mrs. L.C. Boyd of Punxsutawney; Mrs. J.P. Rimer of Sligo; C.M. Wilson of Pittsburg and Henderson and Misses Margaret and Blanche at home. The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Revs. Baker and Bittinger officiating."
