Mrs. Amanda Emerling, well known resident of this city, died last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Rouch, of South Harrison street. Mrs. Emerling was born August 25, 1853, and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Dibert, of York township. She was united in marriage to George Emerling, March 13, 1875. Her direct survivors are two daughteres, Mrs. Howard Miller, of Ohio City, and Mrs. John Rouch, of this city, one sister, Mrs. Lucy Lewis, of Paulding, and five grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Tuesday afernoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Tomlinson Church. Interment will be made at the church cemetery.
