" A wealthy Englishman named Mathews had a beautiful daughter, who fell in love with the strong, handsome, Irish overseer of her father's plantation. His name was GIBSON. They married ,and their daughter, Jane GIBSON, married Beverly OWENS. A daughter of this marriage , Martha Jane OWENS, married Thomas J. HOLCOMBE."
