Amy Ann Evans
(February 26, 1963 - January 26, 2010)

Amy Ann Evans, age 46, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 26, 2010. She was born February 26, 1963 in La Grange, IL.
Amy died just as she lived - caring more about the welfare of others than her own, and fighting death until the very end. Amy endured nearly three years of brutal chemotherapies, surgeries, and radiation treatments, but did so without complaint and without losing her great attitude.

Amy had the pleasure of working with a wonderful group of people in the legal department at McDonalds, whose generosity and compassion to Amy throughout her ordeal was overwhelming.

Amy is survived by her husband John; her children, Neil and Brooke, and by a loving and heartbroken extended family.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 31st, at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 1st, at St. Daniel the Prophet Catholic Church, 101 West Loop Road, in Wheaton. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Wheaton.

Memorials may be directed to Susan G Komen for the Cure, Attn: Gift Management Services, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75244.
