My Aunt Ine was a wonderful person. She lived not far from me when I grew up & we saw each other often, I use to love to go to her house & visit. She was a wonderful cook & there was always something good to eat. Each Sunday I would see her at church, I loved to sit by her as she had such a beautiful voice. Ine had met & married the love of her life Adolph Ree growing up in North Dakota. They had moved to California from North Dakota in hope of better jobs. Adolph was a great mechanic & found work easily. Ine went to work for the Defense Department & later she worked for Hughes. She never much talked about her work but could talk for hours about how to cook something. Adolph passed away from cancer in the 60's & Ine did a lot of traveling with her sister's after that. When I was in my early teens we moved away & I did not see my Aunt as often as I wanted. But she always kept in touch with cards & letters. I collected stamps & when she traveled she would send me postcards so I could keep the stamps. To this day I still have most of the post cards she sent. She loved family & loved her kids. One of her children told me that Ine had feared that when she died no one would come visit her grave. I go visit it every year & thanks to Find-A-Grave others can visit her too.
