EVANS- In Parkesburg, on August 5th 1914, Nathan Evans, aged 68 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral without further notice from his late residence, 523 First Avenue, Parkesburg, Pa., on Saturday, August 8, 1914, at 11 o'clock a.m. Interment private at Fairview Cemetery, Coatesville, Pa.

Nathan Evans, a prominent and much respected citizen of many years' service in this place, died at his home on First avenue, last night, leaving a widow, two sons and three daughters to mourn an irreparable loss. Mr. Evans was a member of the Borough Council, a position he had held for several years to the satisfaction of the townspeople. He was an active and consistent member of the Episcopal Church. His death will long be severely felt.

FUNERAL OF NATHAN EVANS
The funeral of Nathan T. Evans, former yardmaster of the Pennsylvania Railroad at Parkesburg, and a member of Borough Council, was held from his late residence on West First avenue on Saturday morning at 11 o'clock. Services at the house were in charge of Rev. Addison A. Lamb, rector of the Church of the Ascension. A special funeral car had been provided for the transportation of the funeral party to Coatesville. Interment was made in Fairview Cemetery, that place.
Mr. Evans is survived by three daughters, Lottie and Lulu of Parkesburg, and Mrs. Bessie Walker, of Buffalo, and two sons, Nathan, who is ticket agent at Gap, and John, who resides in Lancaster. He is also survived by his widow.
