Cecile Fowler Luse of Oskaloosa, formerly of Hutchinson, departed this world on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at Oskaloosa at the age of 99 years and two months. Cecile was born November 24, 1910 at McLouth, the daughter of Charles L. and Helen Means Fowler.

She was married to Eugene E. Luse on December 23, 1933 at McLouth, he preceded her in death on December 3, 1985.

She was graduate of Kansas State Teacher's College in Emporia, earning her Master's degree in Library Science in 1968. She taught in Kansas public schools in McLouth, Waverly, Greensburg and Meade, and she retired as the Dean of the Library at Hutchinson Community College in 1976.

She is survived by, one Daughter, Ann Luse Davis, Oskaloosa, Daughter-in-Law, Nancy Luse, Cortex, FL., four Grandchildren and three Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a Son, Tom Luse in 2000.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 28 at Barnett-Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Oskaloosa. The Family will receive Friends and relatives from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Thursday, one hour prior to Services at the Funeral Home.

Burial will be at McLouth Cemetery.
