Susan McClelland born June 16, 1854, died May 9, 1924, aged 69 yrs. 10 mos., and 23 days. She was the youngest child of James B. and Elizabeth McClelland. In early youth she united with the U.P. Ch. at Unity. On Feb. 21, 1878, she married J.T. Ryan, then transferring her membership with her husband to the U.P. Ch of Wheat Ridge Chapel in 1916, became members of the Mt. Leigh Presb. Church at Seaman until death. She leaves her husband and 4 children-Elizabeth McNeilan, of Seaman, Herbert M., at home; Charles T., of Wilmington and Ruth Mattingly of Unity. also two brothers R.A., of W.U., and James McClelland of Oliver Twp. eight grandchildren. Funeral at Wheat Ridge Chapel May 12, by Rev. Jordan of W.U. with burial at Unity.
