He was born January 15, 1916 in Wabasha, the son of the late Andrew Binner and Mrs. Margret Binner of Wabasha. He has been a lifelong resident of Wabasha and farmed in the area all his life. He married the former Adelaide Ness of Nelson, Wis. on Oct. 19, 1940 in St. Felix Catholic Church. He was a member of St. Felix Church, the St. Josephs Society and the Wabasha Rod & Gun Club.
He is survived by his wife and mother, four daughters; Mrs. Mary Ann Raina of Minneapolis, Mrs. Jon (Marjorie) Bergin of Lake City, Miss Cheryl Binner of Rochester and Miss Kathy Binner of Rochester; seven sons; Michael, Thomas, Robert, Joseph, Lawrence, Daniel, all of Wabasha and David of U. S. Army Reserve in Aberdeen, Maryland.
There is one grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Len (Lucille) Thorpe of Inkster, Michigan and Mrs. Lee (Marjorie) Todd of Chatfield, one brother of St. Cloud one sister is deceased.
Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Felix Church at 10:30 a. m. Monday with Rev. Edgar Schaefer officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. The parish rosary was said on Sunday evening and the St. Joseph Society attended in a body.
Pallbearers were all nephews; David Todd, Terry and David Arens, Lloyd Ness, William Fitzgerald and Bryan Denneen.
