She was the daughter of Capt. William Jennison (1758-1819) and Sarah Sumner (1764-1832) of Swanton, VT. On 13 Mar 1825, she married Paul Robinson (1794-1828), great grandson of Capt. Samuel Robinson (1707-67), founder of Bennington, Vermont. After Paul Robinson died at the age of 35, Elizabeth lived with her son George Paul Robinson in Highgate in 1840 and 1850 Census. In 1870 she lived with her brother Israel Jennison and moved after 1870 to be near her children, Hon. George Paul Robinson (1827-1911) and Mary Caroline Robinson Olds (1826-1909), wife of Samuel Newell Olds (1818-99) Spencerville, IN.
