She was the daughter of Paul Robinson Jr. (1794-1828) and Elizabeth Jennison (1789-1876). She was the Great-great grandaughter of Captain Samuel Robinson (1705-67), the founder of Bennington, VT. Mary was the wife of Samuel Newell Olds (1818-1899). They were married on 30 Oct 1844 in Swanton, Franklin VT. They had 10 children. Samuel and Mary are are buried together along with her mother Elizabeth Jennison Robinson (1789-1876).
