He was the son of the late Homer and Thelma Mulligan Adams. He was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Pittman Lodge and Eastern Star.
He is survived by his wife, Faye Adams of Campbellsville, two daughters and sons-in-law, Laura Lee and Todd Gabehart and Cheryl Lynn and Joseph Davis all of Campbellsville, six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11AM, Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Brookside Cemetery with graveside memorial service to be conducted by the Campbellsville Police Honor Guard.
Family request visitation 5-8 PM, Monday, January 25, 2010 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home.
Masonic services will be conducted by Pittman Lodge at 7PM, Monday.
In lieu of flowers family request expressions of sympathy to take the form of donations to the Kosair Childrens Hospital or Gideon Bibles which can be made at funeral home.
