When Jewel Katherine Wells was born on April 28, 1933, in Waco, McLennan, Texas, her father, Algon Milo Wells, was 32, and her mother, Zola Faye Butler, was 31. She married Robert Jay Blissard on June 14, 1952, in Harris County, Texas. They had one child: Kimberlin Kay Wells. She died on September 16, 2000, in Houston, Harris, Texas, at the age of 67, and was buried there in the Hollywood Cemetery. She was very talented. She had a talk TV show in Houston.
