He had one daughter with Zola Faye Butler in 1933, Jewel Katherine Wells Blissard. He died on October 14, 1983, in Houston, Harris, Texas, at the age of 83, and was buried there in the Hollywood Cemetery. He was the husband of my 2nd cousin 1X removed by Cheryl Walters Parr.
