Mrs. Martha A. Hess, 94, of Huntington Mills, died yesterday morning at 8 in Gelslnger Memorial Hospital, Danville. She had been in good health, despite her advanced age, until Wednesday morning when she fell at her home and fractured her hip.
Mrs. Hess was a member of Huntington Mills Methodist Church. She and her husband, who died 37 years ago, operated a general store at Huntington Mills for many years.
Surviving are two daughters. Mrs. Lillie Haunty of Pottsgrove and Mrs. John Eveland of Huntington Mills; 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Funeral will be Monday afternoon at 2 from 4ha home of a granddaughter, Mrs. .George Post, Fairmount Springs.
Burial will be in Fairmount Springs Cemetery. Rev. John Baxter Howes will officiate.
