The death of Milton Hess, 87, former Fairmount Township resident, occurred yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fannie Deuel, rear 23 Prospect street, Nanticoke, following an illness. Mr. Hess was born at Fairmount Township and resided there until a year ago when he took up residence with his daughter. He was engaged in farming most of his life and had also served several years as a township supervisor. Surviving are the following children: Harry, Sunbury; Parry, Sweet Valley; Mrs. Deuel, Nanticoke; Paul, Sharon Hill, and Mrs. Edith Peters, Unityville; also 10 grandchildren and 16. great grandchildren. The body was removed to the Alfred D. Bronson Funeral Home, Sweet Valley, where services will be conducted Saturday at 2, Rev. Oscar Saxe officiating. Interment will be In Fairmount Springs Cemetery.
