Caroline Treadway was the daughter of Samuel Treadway and Ursula Clark. She married James Bailey in Pennsylvania and removed to Lawrence County, Illinois in the early 1830's.
Caroline died in 1858 and her husband and members of her family removed to Texas in 1873.
She was the mother of several children including:

There is a biographical sketch on pages 309 & 310 in the 1886 History of Knox and Daviess Counties Indiana, of Thomas Bailey, Caroline's son that gives some of the above information.
