Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 28, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, East Jordan. The Rev. Joseph Diezel will officiate and interment will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
The former Nettie A. Cihak was born Aug. 15, 1894, in Jordan Township Antrim County, the daughter of Frank and Josephine Cihak.
On November 25, 1916 she married Roy Hurlbert in East Jordan. He died in 1958.
Mrs. Hurlbert had lived in the East Jordan area all her life.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and had worked at the canning factory in East Jordan for many years. She enjoyed gardening, dancing and making hooked rugs.
She is survived by one son, Lester Hurlbert of East Jordan and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hurlbert was preceded in death by five brothers, Boehomeio, Frank, James, Louis and Joseph and two sisters, Josephine Cihak and Mary Kubeck.
