Myrtle Benningfield, 73, of 4312 Raven Ridge Drive, Louisville, formerly of Taylor County, died at 12:45 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 8, 1984, at the St. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville. She was of the Holiness faith. She united in marriage to Elmer T. Benningfield Oct. 10, 1936. He preceded her in death Jan. 6, 1981.

She is survived by one daughter and two sons: Shirley Ann Warren and William D. Benningfield, both of Louisville, and Elmer Lee Benningfield of Sellersburg, Ind.; five grandchildren; one brother: George Marple of Campbellsville; several other relatives and many friends.

Funeral service was at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Bro. George Blevens. Burial was in Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Willie Wise, David Berry, Wally Humphress and Dennis Austin.
