A lifelong Tacoma resident, Mr. Clawson was a retired deliveryman and an Army Air Corp veteran of World War II. He is survived by a brother, Buster of Tacoma, and two sisters, Florence Leonard of Tacoma and Carrie Kaye of Roy.
