Johnson was born in Lamar County December 6, 1906, and was 39 years, 5 months, and 8 days of age at the time of his death. He had been a resident of Hall County for the past 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, 3 daughters and 4 sons, his mother, Mrs. Annie Johnson of Memphis, and 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
Pallbearers were C.L. Sloan, Zack Hood, Arvin Hood, Zack Jouett, J.L. Marcum, and Paul Buchanan.
Flower bearers were Geraline Johnson, Geraldean Johnson, Anga Lou Johnson, Nita Jean Trapp, and Alleen Russell.
