BEECH GROVE, May 5-Funeral services for Mrs. Lula Fitzgerald Taylor, age 49, who died in the Catawba Sanitorium at Salem, April 25, was held at the Beech Grove Christian Church, Monday afternoon, April 27, at 3 o'clock by the pastor, Rev. J. L. McKinney. Songs used were: "God Will Take Care of You," "What a Friend We Have In Jesus," and "Does Jesus Care."

Mrs. Taylor was born and reared in this vicinity, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Napoleon Fitzgerald.

She was a member of the Beech Grove Christian Church for 40 years. Although she hadn't lived here for a number of years she still had her membership at this church.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by her husband, Mr. Buck Taylor, who works at Afton; two daughters, Mrs. Branard Ramsey of the Blue Ridge Sanitorium; Mrs. Robert Gwaltney of Cloverdale; two sons, Hunter Taylor, of Covesfield; and Dan Taylor, of Keesler Field, Miss, who is in the Air Corps; two brothers, Messrs. Jimmy and Charlie Fitzgerald, of Roseland; one sister, Mrs. M. H. Dodd, of Nellysford; four half-brothers, Raymond and Tommy Fitzgerald, of Roseland; Tucker and Hoy Fitzgerald, of Lynchburg; one half-sister, Mrs. Clyde Hicks, of Bommer, West Virginia; a stepmother, Mrs. Ella Fitzgerald of Roseland.

Pallbearers were: Leslie, Willie and Clinnie Fitzgerald, Bill Wiggins, Casey and Johnnie Taylor.
Flower girls were: Miss Frances Pugh, Mrs. John Taylor, Mrs. Lawrence Taylor.
