Mrs. Lillie May Dodd, 73, died at 10:30 a.m. yesterday at her home in Nellysford, following a long illness. Mrs. Dodd was born May 7, 1877 in Nelson County, a daughter of the late Napoleon and Catherine Blackwell Fitzgerald. She was a member of the Beechgrove Christian Church.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Dodd is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Matilda Williams of Nellysford; one son, Claude N. Dodd of Faber; and a foster son, Mark Dodd of Nellysford. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Cora Taylor of Covesville; and Mrs. Gertrude Meeks of Verona, and one brother, James Fitzgerald of Roseland and 13 grandchildren.

Services will be held on Sunday at 10 a.m. at the Beechgrove Christian Church by the Rev. Kenneth Lambdin. The Rev. B. F. Robinson will assist. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will remain at Etter Funeral Home until an hour before the services.

Active pallbearers will be John P. Hughes, Fred Willougby, Curtis Fitzgerald, Malcolm Dodd, Dewey Fitzgerald, Willie Fitzgerald.
