Lloyd Edward Sempf, 67, of Mount Pleasant died Saturday at Henry County Health Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Beatty-Wilkins Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Kamm officiating. Interment will be in Forest Home Cemetery. He was born on October 25, 1921 near Rome, the son of William Edward and Elizabeth (Carver) Sempf. He married Alma Rosaline Hummell on June 13, 1941 in Mount Pleasant. He was a retired rock quarry worker. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Larry Joe Sempf; his brother, Cletus Robert Sempf; and his sister, Hazel Lorene Feehan. He is survived by his wife, Alma; his son, Danny Lee Sempf of Trenton; his daughter, Shirley Sempf of Mount Pleasant; his brother, Everett Dale Sempf of Mount Pleasant; and three grandchildren.
