Milton "Jim" Holland, 85, of Watts, Oklahoma passed away January 19, 2010, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born September 3, 1924, in Watts, Oklahoma, the son of Robert and Lois Welch Holland. Jim spent most of his life living in the Adair County area. On December 26, 1942, Jim was married to Eula Hastings in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. He was a farmer, mechanic and electrician. He enjoyed working and also raising and training mules, spending many hours with his team and wagon. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of First Baptist Church in Westville. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Marie Hampton, Marvie Hampton and Mildred Sixkiller and one infant brother, Lewis Holland. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Eula Holland, of the home; four daughters, Louise Williams, of Westville, Patsy Taylor, of Siloam Springs, AR, Retha Hill, of Watts and Debbie Lanier and husband, Charles, of Kansas, OK, 14 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, one brother, Manse Holland, of Westville and one sister, Melanie Noblin, of Longview, WA. Graveside services were held 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2010, at New Hope Cemetery with Bro. Darrell Self officiating. Final arrangements were entrusted to Hart Funeral Home of Westville.
