Celebration of life services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church in Here- ford with the Rev. Kevin Bushart officiating. Burial will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Park by Rix Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Weemes was born Aug. 5, 1939, in Perryton to Howard Carl and Ella Ray Kutch Carter. She married the love of her life, Tommie, on Jan. 30, 1960, in Perryton.
Survivors include a son, Don Weemes of Amarillo; a daughter, Carla Bradsher of Canyon; and a brother, Howard Carter of Colorado Springs, Colo.
The family suggests memorials be to American Cancer Society, 3915 Bell St., Amarillo, TX 79109; or Hospice Care of the Southwest, 1301 S. Coulter St., Suite 404, Amarillo, TX 79106.
