Miss Emma Brody, daughter of David Brody, died Monday evening, from quick consumption, at the home of her parents on Young's prairie, aged 24 years, 3 months, and 90 days. She was sick in Dakota this spring from a severe cold contracted while teaching school there last winter and was brought back by her mother several months ago. She was a resident of this village for some time, clerking in the dry goods store of G. M. Kingsbury.
