Mary Eleanor Cabler, 78, died Thursday, May 31, 2007 in Columbus Hospice House.
Mrs. Cabler was born July 26, 1928 in Wakulla County, the daughter of the late Rufus Tucker Sr. and the late Minnie Virginia Nazworth Tucker.
She has lived in Columbus for the past five years and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Crawfordville.
Survivors include four daughters, Virginia (and Butch) Beach of Columbus, Ga., Brenda (and Greg) Mathers, Donna (and Ron) Ward and Chanelsa Cabler; a sister, Rossie Wildern; two brothers, Rufus Tucker Jr.and Dexter Tucker
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sgt. 1st Class (Ret.) Lawrence Cabler, a great-grandson, Drew Pate, two sisters and a brother.
