CONWAY Madelyn Dusenbury Causey, age 89, wife of the late Victor B. ``Dick'' Causey, of Bradford Drive, died Thursday, May 6, 2004 at Conway Medical Center.
Mrs. Causey was born in Conway, a daughter of the late Claude B. and Mildred McCoy Dusenbury . She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was owner/operator of Conway Bakery. Mrs. Causey was the former manager of the Kitchen's at AVX.
Surviving are three daughters, Peggy Jean Beaulieu of Myrtle Beach, Madelyn C. Hatchell and her husband, Mike of Conway, Dulane C. Spivey of Aynor; one brother, George B. Dusenbury of Myrtle Beach; three sisters, Mildred G. ``Booty'' Singleton, Dorothy D. Johnson and her husband, James, all of Conway, and Sara D. Clardy of Myrtle Beach; ten grandchildren, Delores Dickerson and her husband, Larry, Sharon McMeekin and her husband, Howard, Karen Rush and her husband, Eddie, Kathy Hucks and her husband, James, Heith Hatchell and his wife, Kellie, Thomas Harrison and his wife, Donna, Sheila Singleton and her husband, Mark, Othelle Paquette and her husband, Butch, Elizabeth Jernigan and Nathan Crouch; 17 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. Carl Hunsucker officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, directed by Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel. The Family will receive friends 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday in the church parlor, prior to the service.
