Madelyn Hatchell, age 76, wife of the late Michael H. Hatchell died Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Agape Rehabilitation.
Mrs. Hatchell was born in Conway, a daughter of the late Victor B."Dick" and Madelyn Dusenbury Causey. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Conway. Prior to retirement, she was employed by C & S Bank. She was preceded in death by a sister, Dulane Spivey.
Surviving are: one son, Heith Hatchell and his wife Kellie of Conway; four daughters, Cathy Hucks and husband James of Myrtle Beach; Delores Dickerson and husband Larry and Karen Rush and husband Eddie, all of Conway, and Sharon McMeekin and husband Howard of Pawleys Island; 10 grandchildren, Tripp Hucks and wife Danielle, Hunter Dickerson and wife Heidi, Marley Dickerson, Jessica Rogers and husband Bob, Wren McMeekin and wife Kelli, Josh Rush, Reid Hatchell, and Reagan Hatchell, all of Conway, Briggs Dickerson and wife Blair and Matthew Palmer and wife Suzanne, all of Myrtle Beach; 8 great grandchildren; and one sister Peggy Beaulieu of Myrtle Beach.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday from Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Sandra Stevens Poirel officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 in the Chapel of Trinity United Methodist Church.
