Alice was born the 8th of 9 children, born to Edward Albert Anderson and Sarah Alice (Jones) Anderson. She attended Randolph High School where she was a star player for the basketball teams and later graduating at age 16. After having her four children, she then enrolled at the Texas Women's University where she earned her degree in special education. She married R.J. Kincade on February 25, 1944 in Riverside, California and he preceded her in death on November 23, 1988. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Randolph for over 25 years. She was a schoolteacher and was known for her quick memory of people and events of the past and was a keeper of family information. Her family lived on a Depression-era farm, learning about hard work and a love for the outdoors and animals, all of which played an important part in her life.

She will be laid to rest at the Randolph/Lindsey Cemetery. The land for the church and the cemetery, as well as the local school, was donated by her maternal ancestors, the Lindsey family.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, as well as siblings, Aubrey M. Anderson, Effie B. Hembree, Evelyn P. Reynolds, Douglas S. Anderson, C Melton Anderson (twin brother), Edward Marshall Anderson,
