Last Saturday evening a shadow of sadness was cast over our town when we received the news that Little Billy George Rigsby, the 5 years old son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Rigsby, who had been critically ill for several days had died. The little fellow had suffered quite a lot from something like appendicitis. He was a bright little fellow and made friends with everyone. He was the favorite of the family and with a number of people who knew him on account of his friendliness. His body was brought to Windom from Bonham Sunday afternoon at 5 o'clock the funeral was conducted at the Methodist Church by Bro. C. P. Combs of Quinlan, Texas assisted by E. Roy Fort, the pastor here and Bro. Mays, the pastor at Bonham. A large number of friends and relatives accompanied the little body. Burial was at Windom cemetery. Our hearfelt sympathy goes out to all the sorrowing ones.
