Cleopatra Blasser, 87, a native and lifelong resident of Hamilton County, died Saturday, Aug. 13, 1977, at the Hamilton Heights Health Care Center in Arcadia. She was born June 8, 1890 to Josiah and Luella (White) Griffin.
A homemaker, she was the widow of Charles A. Blasser who died in 1954. She was a co-founder of the Hamilton County Garden Study Club and a member of the Research Club, Little Eagle Christian Church and the Boxley Christian Brother and Sisterhood.
Surviving are three children, Mrs. Mary Josephine Clark and Jacob Blasser, Arcadia, and Frank Blasser, Westfield; two brothers, Lowell Griffin, Deming and Harold Griffin, Sheridan; two sisters, Mrs. Fern Bryant, Cannelton, Ohio and Carrie McKim, Noblesville; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
