Campbell Family
Holds Reunion
The first Campbell family re-
union held here Sunday at Sun-
nyside park was marked by the
first meeting of Newton Campbell
of Wheatland, Wyo., with his
brother, Albert Campbell of
Moundville, Mo., in twenty-five
years. Both are former residents
of Atlantic and were among the
many from a distance here for
the family gathering at which
there were ninety attending.
At noon a picnic dinner was
served and the afternoon spent
socially at Atlantic's beautiful re-
sort.
Among those from a distance
attending the reunion were Mr.
and Mrs. Newton Campbell and
Mrs. Opal Nordwall of Wheat-
land, Wyo.; Mr. and Mrs. Albert
Campbell and family of Chicago,
Mr. and Mrs. Luther Slaughter
and daughter, Edna Fern, Mrs.
Pierce and Mrs. Ellis, all of Min-
burn, la.; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer
Campbell and family and Mr. and
Mrs. Walter Neese and son, Har
old, of Clarinda, Mr. and Mrs.
Jesse Martin and family and Levi
S. Martin of Montezuma, Mr.,and
Mrs. Joe Mleynek of Yale, Mr.
and Mrs. John Tiedje and son,
John D., Mr. and Mrs, Kenneth
Norman, Mrs. John Lancey, and
Harold Stone of Council Bluffs,
